Damroo / Damaru Indian Musical Instruments
In Hindu mythology, Damroo hold a lot of significance. The sound from Damaru symbolizes the sound that originates creation of the world. Shiva devotees believe that beating of the Damaru by Shiva produced the very first sound (nada). This first sound was made in the void of nothingness and Lord Shankara performed tandava to creation of the rhythm from Damaru.
